I just barely escaped skin cancer.  There was a growth on my leg and I went to a dermatologist.  She took one look at it and said she was going to remove it.  They had it biopsied and I received a phone call informing me it was abnormal and I needed to see a surgeon to cut more out.  I did that they said they told me they got it all.  When I saw the dermatologist for my follow up appointment six months later she asked me if I realized how lucky I was.  I just looked at her with a quizzical look on my face because I didn’t know what she was referring to.  She said what they had removed was on the verge of becoming cancer. I knew I was truly blessed and God was watching over me but cancer could be a possibility in my future.  1 in 2 males and 1 in 3 females will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

A few months ago, I watched a docu series on the internet and it opened my eyes.  I now am doing everything I can to strengthen my immune system in order to prevent my body from allowing cancer to develop.  Intuitively, I’ve always known chemo and radiation would kill me.  But now, after watching this docu series I know that is a fact.  I also know that I have choices and alternative therapies exist.  I highly recommend taking the time to watch this series.  Here is a link so you can watch it too:
